This model from G-SHOCK is inspired by the iconic Japanese Aka-chochin (red lantern), a symbol of traditional Japanese tavern culture.

Representing casual places where people gather after work to enjoy drinks and meals, the red lantern embodies a uniquely Japanese atmosphere filled with warmth and lively energy. This Made in Japan model captures that spirit and brings it into the world of G-SHOCK.

The design features a striking red color inspired by the lantern itself, with the word SHOCK RESISTa signature of G-SHOCKprinted boldly across the bezel and band for a distinctive look. Details such as the button colors and band loop are inspired by the lanterns handle and the glow of its light, showcasing meticulous attention to design.

The case back is engraved with a lantern motif, and the special packaging also features a bold red lantern design, making this a truly unique edition.

The bezel and band use biomass plastic for their primary resin components.
This material is made from renewable organic resources and is expected to help reduce environmental impact.
